I had an absolute ball on the last night of the trip, making new friends in the campground. My new friends were from Dallas TX and of all places, Orlando FL. It was great fun talking about food and cooking and the current capabilities of AI and Tesla Full Self Driving.
Although I did manage a short hike, the trail was overgrown, and without much wind it was quite hot and sticky. I don’t think I came across a Torreya tree along the route.
The park and campgrounds is about 1 hour west of Tallahassee, FL. This made a last final overnight before making the 4.5 hour drive into East Orlando.
The river next to the campground is the time zone boundary. Your cell phone will randomly bounce back and forth between time zones.
