The Rattlesnake Lake recreation area is popular so choose your arrival time carefully, but it is well worth the effort and an easy 40 minute drive from Seattle. Round-trip from the parking lot to the ledge is just under 5 miles taking about 30 minutes per mile to hike. The trail and the vistas were simply spactular.
The Country Store nearby is well supplied, particularly well supplied for frisbee golf.
